[Internet] Brighthouse Kissimmee, FL routing to Perfect Worlds game server

Curious if anyone else is encountering high latency to Perfect Worlds game servers. More specifically with Star Trek Online and Neverwinter.

In my case the latency issue seems to occur once routing to the game servers takes me onto cogentco's network. I've contacted BHN support on this routing issue but after being bounced around through several support personnel I don't know that they really understood. I received an incident number and no info since.

This is particularly annoying because I'm only having an issue when accessing anything on cogentco's network.

Below is a trace route and net test based on the info on Perfect Worlds support forums.

I understand completely and to be honest with you that isn't impacting your game. What you need is the return path from the server to you...that is whats impactful....yes it is higher than I would like...but still well below the eye hand brain response threshold. Of course hard core gamers will completely go nuts that I said it...however the science doesn't lie. If you can get me that return path however I really would like to help you.

I'll see if I can get Perfect Worlds support to provide that. The end result is much worse than those numbers show. Essentiall everything on screen stops every 10-12 seconds and on reactivating everything in the environment has shifted while you were paused.

Right and that data is provided on the return not outbound. Therefore I need the return path. Also it wouldnt hurt for you to also open a direct thread with your modem MAC so I can rule out any other issues that we do have control over.
