[DSL] SmartRG SR505n and ipv6-4 tunnel
I was just wondering if anyone has set up an IPv6 tunnel on one of these modems. I've signed up with a broker and they've provided me with all the details, but I can't seem to find the proper configuration pages to get this up and running. I've telneted into the device as well and tried some of the example commands (provided for Cisco, OpenWRT, linux, etc) but they don't seem to work.
Under "Advanced">"IP Tunnel">"IPv6inIPv4", I tried creating a "6RD" tunnel, but that apparently isn't supported over PPPoE, further, there doesn't seem to be a spot to specify my tunnel's IPv4 endpoint address, my client IPv6 address, or my endpoint IPv6 router address....so, it just doesn't seem to be the right spot to be entering this info.
I'm a bit of a noob here and I'm just starting to dive into this so please bare with me
At least on my firmware it says you can only use 6rd. So you wouldn't be able to use your broker. However, if all you want is IPv6 access, then you should be able trick 6rd to do 6to4.
Unfortunately, I have my router set up in bridge mode so I can't test this. Try the following:
IPv4 Mask Length: 0
6rd Prefix with Prefix Length: 2002::/16
Border Relay IPv4 Address: 18.104.22.168
