Very true, and the hides are fetching a great price on the AH for the gold makers right now because of it. In fact when you posed the question, I assumed you were asking because you were looking to post the hides on the AH and may have not even been a leather worker.
Shame that, need 2 hides a day for the higher quality leather 'transmute'.
