Windstream → Wii will not connect to Internet - Sagemcom F@ST 1704N

Hi. I just got a new wireless modem/router from Windstream, and since then our Wii has not been able to connect to the Internet. The Wii finds our network, but an error keeps coming up saying it cannot connect. All other wireless devices connect just fine. I already called Windstream and the guy insisted that the router is good for the Wii...though after reading on the Nintendo web site, I don't believe him. The router is a Sagemcom F@ST 1704N. Thanks.

delete the connection and start over and search for an access point. Change the security setting to wpa2 psk aes. Enter the password and save. Do a check and it will work....or did for me....Be blessed!
