Free Phone Offer and Zazeen
If I sign up for cable for 1 year and get the free phone for a year, what will be the cost of the phone in year 2 forward? If I prepay again in year 2 for internet is the phone free again?
As for Zazeen TV it relies on internet connection from Acanac, so will it be unwatchable during peak hours (7PM to 12AM) since the 25Mbps package is reduced to 8Mbps?
The Free Phone offer is for the first term only (Acanac only), in your case 1 year, after the year is up it becomes a paid service. If you don't want the phone to renew for the second year, please notify firstname.lastname@example.org before your renewal date.
There is no rate limiting in effect, your speeds will not be restricted.
A HD stream uses about 4.2Mbps.
Thanks for the quick response!
You're very welcome.

I can confirm that the internet speed is stable at the full speeds
Then why do they say that speed is reduced during peak periods (7PM-12AM)?
it's just in case they need to do it.
As said it is just in case they need to do it and if they do it would only be in heavily congested areas during those hours. Three years with Acanac cable and it has never happened. I am on cable in QC and also have VOIP ( never a problem) and I have signed up for IPTV. You can follow the IPTV discussions over at Zazeen.
