[NV] Cox Raises Prices Again
Cox has announced this month that starting with the current bills going out right now that they have once again raised prices. This means not only once but TWICE now in the same year. As if the first raise wasn't enough, they claim the reason is to adjust for the "wonderful free services" they provide us with our packages (ie, "cox security suite" and "cloud hosting").
If that's true...then for those of us that do not use (and have never touched) these free features...please, by all means keep them as I don't need them. I just need the internet...no marketing babble to use as excuses to over-charge your customers even more.
I have already dumped Cox for TV and everything else (I have felt better starving myself from TV than paying their crazy prices for "basic extended...non-digital, non-dvr...non-EVERYTHING cable")...I won't hesitate to dump internet as well. I have heard that the cruddy Centurylink is planning a massive upgrade soon that might actually offer speeds that could bring them out of the "they suck" pool and blow past Cox. I hope they do because I'll swiftly jump ship. If not, I think it would still be worth the slightly smaller speeds just to rid myself of these high prices.
This is my sig!
