[OS X] Brother printer driver

I helped a friend upgrade his Mac Mini to Mavericks, and it went smoothly except one thing. When he printed, he got an error about permissions not set correctly and running repair permissions didn't help. He has a Brother 7020 MFD.

Remove the printer from System Prefs, unplug printer, plug it back in, add new printer.

You can also try "Resetting the Printing System", which fixes all kinds of strange problems:
