Tree in front of DrivewayI am trying to apply for a permit to build a curb side so that I can park in front of my house. The space can fit 2 cars and is extremely wide and deep. The only probelm is that there is an old tree standing on the pedestrian walk and it needs to be removed in order to access the front yard. Does the city allow removal of old trees in exchange of replanting new ones? What would be the best thing for me to do in this situation?
Also, for some reason, all the trees were removed on my street. This one is the only remaining. |

it's actually very difficult to get trees removed that are on city property, unless the tree is a danger to public safely and is dead or dying. |

Do you have any utilities running near that tree? |
