The 'Fins got it done with the always exciting Walk Off Safety in the OT.
I keep hearing people say how good the Bengals are/AFC Contenders -- I just don't see it when I watch their games. They are not on the same level as Denver or KC |
|
|
Yeah, one don't usually see a safety in OT. Also, there were some questionable calls by the coach like this: "The Bengals could have tried a 56-yard field goal in overtime but punted to the Dolphins instead." (they were good on 54 yarder before) |

Tampa Bay, 15 point underdog at Seattle, leads 21-0 in the second quarter. Now that's upsetting. |

Tampa wasn't about to let Jax take the #1 overall draft pick. They wanted to give Seattle a wake up call then tank for Teddy (Bridgewater). |

For all that winlessness, Tampa is very competitive in some games, and so far had an OT, a 1, 2, and 3 pts loss with the average margin of loss being about 8 points. On the other hand, the closest for the Jaguars is a 10 pts loss with the average margin of about 22 (!!) points. |

Though Lovie is being connected to the USC job a lot on Chicago sports talk radio, it seems like the Bucs would be as good as fit as any |

The ever persistent rumors in Chicago are that Trestman/Tucker will want to install the 3-4 for Da Bears sometime -- trade away the core Tampa Two personnel, Lovie's players anyway, to Tampa & see what you can get back
The GM has denied the rumors up until this point, but the Bears Defense is getting older -- it is about time to blow it up. |

At 0-8 anything is better then what they have. How they blew a 21 point lead is beyond me. They had to try very hard to tank so it screams #1 draft pick to me. |

Well the Ravens are officially toast now. Cannot run the ball at all...the worst run game I've ever seen in Baltimore by far. And the defense cannot stop anyone when it matters most. |
