How do I disable MoCA on the Actiontech LAN side?

Hi, I'd like to disable the LAN side MoCA adapter on my Actiontec 424 Gen 3.

Reason being that I have devices (tivo roamio pro) that bridge ethernet and moca, causing network loops, and I can't disable the bridge, or at least I have not yet figured out how to do it.

Since I don't need MoCA on the LAN side, I'd like to disable it.

Seems to me that the MoCA and ethernet are one connection on the 424?

Is there a way to keep MoCA WAN, but disable MoCA LAN, and keep ethernet enabled?

P.

You clearly have FIOS-TV. What's not clear is whether you have any FIOS STBs.

It's also not clear why you're causing a network loop. The Roamio does not need to be connected back to the Actiontec via cat5. It should be able to get its LAN connection via MOCA. You can use the cat5 connection on the Roamio to connect other devices without causing a loop.

If you don't have VZ STBs, you can disable the Actiontec's MOCA LAN.
- Click on the My Network icon.
- Select Network Connections from the left menu
- Underneath Network Home/Office, you should see "Coax", click on that.
- At the top of the Coax Properties page, there is a Disable button. Click that.

If you have FIOS STBs, you have to keep the MOCA LAN active on the Actiontec.

I did figure out how to get the Roamio's to stop bridging, so no more looping, but I'd still like to know how to disable LAN MoCA on the Actiontec.

I replaced all my Verizon DVR's with TiVo's, so no more need for MoCA.

My configuration calls what you describe as "Coax", "Ethernet/Coax".
I am not sure if this is LAN MoCA, or if this is LAN in general?
