Comcast XFINITY TV → [Comcast Equip] Explorer 4250HDC: cannot launch setup wizard

I tried the following:

"To launch the HD Setup Wizard, press the INFO and GUIDE buttons directly on the cable box (at the same time) while the cable box is OFF. The TV should be left ON while you do this. It should come up as TV Connection Set-up"

I press and nothing happens!

I'm trying to correct a problem -- the picture rolls and flares and I'm guessing that the STB is trying to determine the proper resolution. This takes several seconds and is visually annoying.

With the latest SA/Cisco S26 Guide software, with the STB turned off, you press the "HD Zoom" button on the remote to bring up the HD Setup Wizard. See this Comcast guide about it:
