What type of Internet service do you have? (Cable, Fiber, DSL, etc.?)
Try cycling power on your Modem...

Can you take a screenshot of your WAN settings (under Advanced)?

Try the Internet Setup wizard page...
Should be set to something like Automatic Configuration/DHCP...

You want to have DHCP Enabled, and anything else like PPPoE, PPTP, L2TP, etc. Disabled.

I have the same problem with my WNDR 3700V2. I think it is related to the changes in the genie interface. Weird that it just started a week or so ago.

Same problem here as well. There was a Genie update and that's when I first noticed the issue. Everything seems to be working OK though.

The problem has been fixed for me as well. Apparently, it was Genie related and affected most Netgear routers not just the WNDR3700

I'm having an issue with my WNDR3700v1. I have an 32GB USB thumb drive formatted in ext3 that is connected to the USB port of the router and the transfer rate sucks.
Any idea how I can make it go quicker than going at the wonderful speed of 2MB/s? On my PC I get speeds of 20MB/s while copying to the same USB device.
Hardware Version WNDR3700
Firmware Version V1.0.16.98NA
GUI Language Version V1.0.0.64
