On sat night my iPad mini (gen 1) started acting flakey. When it happens the screen acts like a ghost hand is navigating it. I have done a full restore of the firmware and restored from backup. Then i did a restore to new iPad. i finally got it to stop however i am not sure if it is cured.
I bought the iPad in march 2013 of this year. I do not have the receipt unless if its in email saved which i doubt as i lost all email during a server crash. Does Apple have any record of when i bought this or do i just need to nurse it until i can upgrade to the new gen 2 mini ?
Update: i do have the receipt in email saved. However my printer is down. I can sign into email at the apple store and show them the receipt it is online i would just need use of a computer there. it was purchased 3/22/2013 i did not purchase apple care .
