I have version 25.0 and have had it hang several times when I "X" out of it. I have had to go to task manager and kill the process.
I was getting the message (when trying to open Firefox) that it is still running and I need to close it first.
I have never had this happen before with any other Firefox version. Hope the new one corrects this.

I've been having the same problem as you Robotics, on my Win 7 Ultimate x64 machine. No problem on my Windows XP Pro x32 machine though. I hope this update fixes it.

No need to apologize Nick. For me, It was like hearing the ice cream truck on the street next to yours. You can't wait for it to get to your house, but you know it's coming.

Still having this issue with version 25.0.1 It seems to do this more often when I am on a "https" site...but may just be a coincidence. Surprised no one else is reporting/having this problem other than rcedillo. Sad that this is happening with the last two updates.

On my health report page it claims the last crash was 11-2-2013 when in fact it was today 11-17-2013 when I tried to get to this site. It even happened twice last night. So I'm not sure what to think of the health report not reporting correctly either.

I feel they have some work to do to get this great browser back to being....great.

If you are the only two having the problem, it's not Firefox.

Running FF 26.0 Beta 5 here and I cannot believe how utterly stable even the beta versions are. Have had no FF issues here in a very long time.

It's happening to me, too, and another thread: »Can't Reopen Firefox After Closing It includes a link to this thread.
