Feedback → [bug] Editing post deletes 'reply to' line at top of post

Yesterday I edited a post that was a reply to someone else, and which had the 'reply to xyz' line at the top of my post.

When I finished editing and submitted the edit, the 'reply to' line was gone.

Each of your posts if looked at individually have the reply to, if you're looking at the whole thread and the reply is to the post directly above it that doesn't show.

Hmm, I'm not sure I understand. In the case I'm talking about, I viewed my post inside the whole thread, and it showed the "reply to joeblow" line at the top, and then after the edit, I again viewed the entire thread and the line was gone from my post.

So it was there for the initial post, but gone after the edit.

Hi, can you give us a link to the post you edited?

It won't show it if you're in the thread and you've replied to the post immediately above yours. It will only show in that case if you're viewing your post in isolation.
