The company that did the work is responsible for this. Contractors have their own contractual language, and I bet they have a standard clause for screw ups like this that leave them totally liable. Pass the buck may be an American pass time, but lets place the blame where it belongs. Do you really think Google spoke to these guys directly? Most likely it will get fixed by that contractor when they can do so. Admittedly though, the contractor is CLEARLY they are not thinking with a full deck.
