I have a cell phone that uses rogers as a carrier and I did a whois query on the assigned IPs and I am getting some strange results. I called Rogers and they person in tech support told me he assumed the result was an error but I would not be so quick to assume. I have refreshed the IP a few times by turning off my data and turning it back on. Here were some of the results. I encourage anyone else on Rogers to try the same or help me understand why my these ip addresses would be the first hop for my cell phone traffic. Keep in mind I've done these sorts of quires before and it's always come back to rogers.

Rogers running out of private IP addresses and they are using US Department of Defence for Cable customers and UK Ministry of Defence for Cellular customers. Nothing to worry about, these addresses are only for use inside of Rogers network, from outside you have a routable Rogers IP address.
