I've recently replaced my 3745 with a 3845 and cleaned up the cables a bit (still need some longer cables for the connection to my DL360 g5 though *that's the 2 red and the blue cable)

and I found I still can't put the door on my rack, as the cable management sticks out a bit to far, at least I don't have to use the NM-1GE with its transceiver sticking out anymore.

Able to get a more frontal picture of the rack? Can't really make out some of the equipment from the angle
you took the shot from...

Otherwise, my inner geek heart's all pitter-patter.

I just do, this is in my bed room and I do sleep fine with it

I'll try to get a better pic, but my TV is right in front

top to bottom
3845
cable management (wanted 2U but messed up and well it still works)
2960G-24TC-L loaded with 12.2(55)se8
a shelf holding my SMC-D3 and my ripe probe
a DL380 G4 with some ram in anti-static bags on top
a 16port KVM (got it for free)
DL360G5
my desktop computer with my TS469-Pro next to it
2x Backups 1500va UPS's
2x HP PDU's (one to each UPS)

Is this pic better?

I think he means electric bill. In Canada they call it hydro, at least in some parts.

While I know in Canada they call electricity hydro do to most of it being produced via hydro-electric dams, hydro literally translated to water so I feel inclined to act ignorant of that fact even though I'm not.

should I call my power grease service? fairly sure its mostly oil produced.

that's a nice setup. and to comment on the last user, yeah it might use a lot of hydro so your hydro bill might be higher, especially with the hydro rates going up in the next year.

That's why I prefer to leave work level gear at work. "Test gear" accessable from home via VPN.
