Re: [DSL] SmartRG modems are now available.

Out of curiosity, are the ones you'll be selling gonna come with a manual of some sort?

The one I obtained elsewhere came with absolutely no documentation at all.

that's odd; I posted a link for the SmartRG 350N manual but it doesn't appear. I pm'd you the link, HiVolt. TSI's website doesn't indicate which model is used tho.

Yeah I'm aware some generic versions are floating around... but I just wonder if there is maybe even some kind of quickstart manual outlining the very basics like wifi setup.

Just looked in the box for my test unit.. Don't see one. Not sure to be honest. Maybe the guys can chime in about the manual.

Yeah, would be nice to have some basic info in the box, even if its prepared by you guys...

Ie, what the default web interface address is and the user/pass, how to set up WiFi and make sure it has adequate security, and change it to bridge mode if the user wants to use it with their own router.

Otherwise its gonna needlessly tie up your phone support.

I am checking with our marketing team if one has been created yet or not.

I'll get back to you when I have the answer.

Use the link above.

I have no issues with setting it up myself, i was thinking more for the masses that aren't familiar with the technical jargon.
