[Windows] ASUS RT-N66W slow GUI page.

This is really getting on my nerves. I try to access 192.168.1.1 and all it does after I log in is show a spinning circle and never loads. It times out on a local stored page. It works fine after closing the browser a few times.

I never had this problem with the Netgear or any other router. The router works fine but it is a hit and miss to load the local GUI page. I searched and no one but me is having this problem.

This is often a problem with IE, try using a different browser and see if that helps.

Turn off ALL your other wireless devices (clients, repeaters, everything) and try again.

Do try using compatibility mode and see if that helps.

Tried the page wireless on my laptop and it is fast and responsive. When I plugged in the Ethernet cable it was back being slow again.
