[Other] Does Charter Enforce the data caps?I am wondering if Charter actually enforces their data caps. I think I have a 250 GB max. If I go over will I get in trouble and have nor more bandwidth for the month? Basically I am wondering if the caps are mildly enforced or of they are strictly enforced. Thanks everyone. |

Depends on the area and level of congestion |

I think they are loosely enforced. At least they are in my area, thankfully, and I've seen very few complaints here about being contacted for exceeding caps. |

I was in an area that had peak time congestion and was pulling down over 1TB a month and never heard anything about caps. I even was constantly complaining that my node was congested. Eventually they upgraded the node and now everything is fine and my usage is up. |

I hope not. I don't know my usage but I'll use Netflix/Amazon Prime 8+ hours a day .............. |

I have gone over a couple of times, though not by much. I never heard about it. |

in my area they did and we only have 89 modems on the node im on and slow down to 3-4Mbps every night so i switch to business to get unlimited bandiwdth and just waiting on them to get the equipment next month to fix my issue till then they was nice enough to give me 2 free months |

I've had Charter for over two years now and there have been times I've hit over two TB a month and never heard a peep. I usually hit around 500-700GB but as I said, sometimes I go a little nuts. |

I regularly pull 300-400GB per month and I've never heard a peep. |

I don't see how they can enforce when they don't provide a way for users to check their usage. |
