PS4 Camera...worth it? Or just a gimmick?

I have a PS4 coming with in about a week. I got an extra controller and BF4 with it.
I forgot about the camera. But...is it even worth it to get it?
So, does anyone here have it and want to review it?
I don't plan on getting it if it's not going to be used enough.

No point for me, just more clutter. But I'm sure someone likes the motion games.

I have PS Move, so I would get the camera just because of that. Probably not if I didn't.

If you're not really gung-ho on motion games, there is no compelling use for the camera right now. Maybe in the future. But I didn't purchase one with my PS4.

Having some time, I googled it a bit and found this...

Seems kinda gimmicky to me. Other than to show friends what it can do, if you don't have kids (and I don't) then I can't really see a good use for it. ...Same thing with the kinect in my eyes.

Here's something that would be cool to do and would probably sell more cameras.
Using the camera, point it at a photo of a location, a map or a satellite image of an area. Software could render everything in 3D. And use it to create, save and share your own maps for racing, RPG, or FPS using real photos of places or actual satellite images from Google maps. I could see that as being really cool. Cause you could race down the streets of your own town. Or have BF4 type battles in your own city. Scan your own car and drive it in the game. Heck scan yourself and put you in the game. (although nude characters would be sure to follow)
Aside from the naked dudes running all around, I think that would be pretty cool.

Got the move set up for my PS3. Never used it even once.

Paired with the Sharpshooter (I think that's what it's called) it is a really good control scheme for FPSs like Resistance and Killzone. Unfortunately there are not enough FPSs on the PS3 to really make it worth the initial investment.

I'm an exercise game/video kind of gal and have used the cameras for those; they've work pretty well overall.
