SanFran protestors hate rich Google/Apple commuters

More envy of those who contribute to society by those who don't. Apple and Google corporate commuter buses being protested in San Francisco and Oakland.

You would think city dwellers would be happy to get all those extra cars off the streets.

Whether Apple and Google employees "contribute to society" is a matter of opinion.

That said, these goons who would deny anyone they disagree with the right to go to work, are the first to cry out for government funding of their pet social causes -- and while Google is known for paying little to no corporate taxes, how many of these bus riders are paying California's 12.30% income tax, including ex-post-facto taxes on paper gains from 2012?

Google and Apple please migrate from CA to FL if the locals give you a hard time. After all they did tell you guys to "Fuck Off" and we have plenty of space available down here. We could use more tech jobs and lower the unemployment rate while we are at it.

While I do have a distain for the 1%, This is a protest that does not go against them. In fact when you really think about it these buses help the city. I bet lots of these riders still own cars, So if they ride the bus every day to work that means they are paying property tax in the town and car tax on their car but they are only using it lightly instead of every day.

People state its taking from the city transit and regional rails, But do either one have stops at or near where these people commute to?

Do they pay more in taxes than they take from the government? If yes then they are contributors.

Contributing (giving) is a voluntary act.

Taxes are taken.
