Open Forum → how to configure the ADSL Line Profile for optimum performance

Dear Friends,

I am trying to create a line profile on the DSLAM but do not understand below parameters which are in the profile settings and how they will affect the service.

>>Target SNR Margin, Min and Max SNR Margin (ATU-C & ATU-R) for upstream and downstream.
>>MAX interleaved delay. (ATU-C & ATU-R)
>>Downstream Min. INP (DMT Symbol)
>>TSSI
>>PSD TUNE VALUE & TONE ID
>> Missing Tone section parameter

Can some body support me to understand the concept of these parameters and how will they affect the ADSL service?

I do beleieve your provider has that set to where they want it. Do not go tinker with the dslam.
