[TW] QAM channels with Earthlink via TWC

I'm looking at switching from TWC to Earthlink to save money. Seems I could just switch back and forth every time my promotion runs up. Anyway, with TWC I am able to pick up a good number of channels including my local broadcast networks in HD using a QAM tuner. Since Earthlink service is provided by TWC, I am curious to know if I will be able to continue to pick up these channels if I switch to Earthlink. Does anyone know?

Switching from one to the other does not physically change anything. You'll still be connected to the exact same cable network.

Unless TWC moves the clear QAM channels below the limit of the analog filter, you'll always be able to see them.

FYI, TWC and other cablies are trying to get rid of these QAM channels.

They're getting rid of it because people are essentially stealing the signal, since they're unencrypted and people are receiving channels they do not pay for.

And FCC allows cable to encrypt them. :/
