Problem accessing some websites? Is anyone else having a hard time getting to some websites? There have been a few this evening, but I can't get to www.NorthJersey.com and www.theknot.com. Utilizing a proxy both websites come up. Ping and tracerts appear normal. |

Both are fine for me. |

DNS issues. I changed to using google's DNS and no longer have issues. |

Been having problems all day. Switching DNS to 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 (google) at the router hasn't seemed to help much. |

I had switched the DNS locally on my PC, versus the router. But the VZ DNS issue itself now appears to have been cleared up. |

I've been using the open DNS servers for over a year and never had one single problem or outage. The Verizon ones would always act up at least once a week for me, so annoying. 208.67.222.222 208.67.220.220 |

We started seeing the issue in Lower Bucks PA about 7 PM on 1/2/2014. By 9:30 PM I called tech and was told they were aware of the issue but were not going to log it as an outage therefore no ETA on the repair. Go figure? |

Just had a bunch of VZ Fios and wireless users in the FL area that had an issue this morning. If they changed to 8.8.8.8 it worked fine. |

I'm in the same area as Sparky and mmclaren, and I've still got some weirdness going on. Nothing like before, but some spinning wheels trying to find sites. |

I been having issues with a couple iptv boxes that I have. Streaming live TV service some channels not where they suppose to be or not there. Woke up with this happening. Yet speed tests normal. |

Yes, it appears that things are back to normal now in lower Bucks County. |

May not be related but I was upgraded, from 25/25 to 50/25 at the end of Dec. While speed test pings are in the 10 - 12 ms range and the tested speeds are over the advertized numbers, I've seen that web pages take notably longer to load than they did when I had the slower service. Pages that used to load in 1-2 seconds now take 5-6 before they start to paint the screen. Once the repaint starts, it is very fast.
Additionally, I have a Samsung smart Blu-Ray player that is running the FiOS TV app and it now buffers and hangs, quite a bit (every 10 - 20 secs), when watching HD content. Before the upgrade, it would only happen every 15 - 20 minutes, if at all. |
