[Internet] Slow Speeds - Lexington, KY Area

Is any experiencing slow speed and latency in the Lexington, KY Area? I have the 50meg service and today I am only getting about 2-4 Mbps down. Upload is hitting around 6-7 Mbps. I've seen a few people complaining on Twitter and FB but nothing concrete.

Nope.

A tech is supposed to be here between 7-9 this evening. Tier 3 thinks it's a signal issue.

Hello, deanb1234.

Can you post a screen shot of your modem connection status page? I am just curious to see what you're signal levels are.

Yep here you go. What's a normal, or acceptable range?

Haven't noticed any issues here. At my home in Nicholasville I am getting my normal 55/5 speeds and at the office near Beaumont Centre (Harrordsburg Rd meets New circle) the speeds are looking normal as well.

Most likely a local issue with the lines around your house or something like that.

You're literally just up the road from me (Konner Woods at Sandersville/G-town).

I've not noticed any issues with speed at my house. I've got the 30/5 plan and my speedtests usually come back with ~34/5.55.

At this point they're thinking it's the tap on the pole, so they're sending out a crew to climb the pole and replace it.
