Re: Have to Reluctantly Open a Facebook Account, how to be anonymous + secure?
They did change it after all. Not surprised. They've been on a push to purge fake accounts and duplicate accounts. Real info on real people with real names seems to have a higher advertising value than does fiction.
If you have to help clients, then how would you do that being anonymous? Someone would have to know who you are on Facebook to get a hold of them or get a hold of you.
If I was doing work for a client and it was to use Facebook, I would require the client to use their own identity in setting up anything so that everything would be under their name and not mine. This would also provide them more control should they need it over any pages created and so forth and provide separation from me and any media.
This would also help me dodge setting up an account myself and exposing myself to Facebook's policy as frankly I can agree to a client's contract, but not Facebook's.
