Future Sympatico IMAP Support?
A few months ago, outlook.com (the email platform Bell uses) finally added IMAP support. Does anyone know if Bell also intends to add IMAP support?
Many of us now do our mail using multiple devices. In this scenario IMAP is far superior than POP3/SMTP, which is why I'm asking.
I'm aware I can transition to gmail or icloud or whatever mail, but it would be far less painful (from my customer perspective) if Bell added IMAP support.
You can use the @sympatico.ca or @bell.net email address with IMAP now that outlook.com has that feature. Just use these settings below in your email client, with your bell login credentials. I'm currently using it for my bell email account and it works fine. You may have to subscribe to the folders in the account so they become visible in your folder hierarchy also. I know in outlook this needs to be done, other mail clients may work differently.

Also, if your device support email by using "Active Sync", it work too..

This worked like a charm. Thanks for the suggestion!
