Darn echoes..

I hate when that happens!
Some might recognize that with IPv6 you will have more IP's available than any residential customer than can possible find reasonable use for and for a very reasonable price find outside hosts offering you a billion more which can redirect in to billions of other accounts (even Carl Sagan would be overwhelmed )
5-'v4 IP's isn't much to brag about anymore

Nothing, those are obsolete and for the most part of no value. IPv4 addresses on the other hand are still in use, and will be for quite some time. The value will continue to rise until the larger players release some prior allocations.

LOL. The best illustration of why we need IPv6 is a photo I saw of a teenager in Tokyo who has a phone in her left hand, texting, while talking on a 2nd in her right hand and wearing a bandolier with 5 pockets, 3 of which have other cell phones in them.

How 'bout a couple of 8 inch floppies from my old IMSAI 8080 micro? Or maybe some paper tape, slightly used....

Punchcards my friend, cheap, traceable, easily recyclable, provide employment to the masses of "IT specialists ' newly qualified to punch their way out of a bag, with out all the dangers of children and bags...slightly bulky perhaps but able to store metadata in a hardly worth hacking format.
the wave of the future, I tell you!

I do need some core memory if you've got 4k bits you can spare.

Punchcards my friend..

While I did spend many an hour in front of an IBM 29 keypunch during my early years of computing, sadly, I did not keep any of the punch cards.
