I'll add one comedy to the list: Mike & Molly.
It's the only comedy that consistently gets me laughing.
And I'll add one drama: Bates Motel.
The acting on the show, especially by Vera Farmiga, is amazing.
As for the rest, I think you covered most of the best of them. |

Orphan Black really made a good impression on me in no small way due to Tatiana Maslany. I look forward to season two (err series two) on April 19th.
I'll tentatively add "True Blood" too even if its upon its last season coming up in ~June. The last couple of seasons were kind of weak IMO but I still want to see it though,...to the bitter end. |

Results would seem to be skewed. Some programs (Homeland + Newsroom come to mind) would naturally have less viewers due to being available only with a subscription to premium channels, and thus have abnormal low numbers in this pool. I'm just sayin'. |

I like a lot of shows. The omission of Justified from the poll, though, is mind-boggling. It is the very representation of the best that TV can deliver . . . the writing, acting, and subject matter are superb.
This show grabs you in the first 5 minutes of the pilot episode and doesn't let you go. If you haven't seen it . . . see it. |

To each their own .......we all have different tastes and I totally agree about Suits,along with Newsroom ,P.O.I. Elementary and G.O.T. they have to be the best shows on the tube right now. But as much as I like Justified,to compare it with those others is ludicrous and you have to be sampling some of that redneck shine they sell on the show,to think so. lol |

I see it this way: Justified is a very good show, but it's very uneven from episode to episode and season to season.
There was one season about the characters looking for some guy that turned out to be a sheriff and it just dragged on and on and on and on.
Sometimes I feel like I can watch the first couple of episodes, take a break, and then watch the last couple of episodes and not miss much.
I wouldn't think about doing that with Person Of Interest, Bates Motel, Homeland, The Good Wife, Sherlock, (it's 3 episodes per season, miss one and you miss a lot) or even Sleepy Hollow. |

Therefore, in your opinion (which others may or may not share) Justified is a representation of the best that TV can deliver. Of course it's my opinion, but it's an opinion shared by a large majority of critics and the fact that it's in its 5th season now means it has staying power.
It's also my opinion that those who don't know how good it is (or leave it out of polls such as this) simply haven't seen it. |

Do you watch any others? I've watched many of the shows on your list. Many of them don't have the critical and popular acclaim that Justified does. Your list is nothing but your opinion of what you think is best, as opposed to something developed a bit more objectively, with a larger sample than, say, 1. |
