Android app for Voip.msHey guys, I have been looking for an Android app that provided access to my Voip.ms account and just ran across one at the Google Play store. It's called Voip Assistant. » play.google.com/store/ap ··· tant.proThere's a free version and a paid version. I purchased the paid one and it seems to work pretty good. I think the paid version just offers a few more features and options than the free one does. I had a little trouble figuring out what api settings I needed to use but once I entered everything the program seemed to work fine. I emailed the author of the software about possibility adding other features and he told me he was in the process of doing just that. I don't know if there are other apps that allow access to Voip.ms accounts or not but I don't believe Voip.ms offers one of their own. Just thought I'd mention this for anyone else looking for a way to access their voip.ms account on their phone. |

+1 for zoiper. It supports IAX too. I used it to call using Free Wifi at the airport overseas. Worked fine. |

The OP's post is not about softphone but an account manager.

I've been meaning to get my hands dirty on iOS programming by writing something like that for the iPad (don't have an iPhone). The voip.ms web site works relatively well on the iPad, but an app would be better for frequent tasks (priority would be caller id filtering). Can't really get into that right now - some soft tissue pain got me on sick leave, so if I can't sit down to program at work, I can't quite sit down to program at home now, can I? |

Best rest and get better. Let me know when you do get to it I will fully support your project. Long term apple user here. |

Just a quick update concerning this app.
I had emailed the developer to ask if he could include a way to see your remaining balance and he assured me he was working on that.
Today I noticed that it has indeed been implemented.
Hopefully other features will be added as well. |

What permissions does this app require? |
