mudzu : It may be good now;I know I have it too but I look for it to get like everyone else's before it's over.I've had it since they first turned it on as a "beta tester" if you will and haven't had too many outages yet but as it grows I don't expect to have the same attitude about it.I do hope I'm wrong though.

Adelphia does get better

MortySnerd : In Blacksburg, VA the one-way powerlink service that was here for so long was horrible. I think they had 3 or 4 nodes for the entire town. After the long awaited digital cable / fiber optic upgrade, each apartment complex alone has 4-6 nodes and powerlink service has been (at the risk of sounding fanatic) outstanding.

I waited for years to finally get broadband so I know the wait can be frustrating, probably more so if you already have broadband that's slow and crappy. Adelphia gets bashed a lot, but when they finally do get around to doing their own upgrades, they do know what they are doing and can provide good service. If only they would improve their customer relations to let people know WHEN they plan on upgrading. It might help them in this Maryland situation.
