45mps line stats
Hey guys, just got the power, 45mps service, but have a concern about line quality.

It looks as line 2 is 5mps less than line 1. VRAD is across the street from us and tech said its strongest signal hes seen, but i have my doubts.

What do you guys think?

Your on a F card, max upstream=upstream rate, nothing can be done about that till outside plant updates to K or N cards. The Uverse tech works with wat is available, while the lines currently are unbalanced, should be 27500 and 3000 each, they may adjust over next couple days, but not a bad thing. Your SN margins are both over 15, line attenuation under 15, so close to VRAD with NO ERRORS, generally wii see some FEC whichis OK.

It is possible line two was not condition accounting for uneven numbers, but Uverse bonded only requires line1 to be condition. so I would agree with tech, looks good with almost 99M available on an F card.

I certainly don't see anything wrong with those statistics, wish mine were as good and I'm on a K card!

Is my service on a K card then? I was curious if my numbers looked good or not. I have not rebooted the gateway for several months and show lots of FEC errors. Is that bad?

I get about 100K FECs per day on my bonded pair. always Line 1. No CRCs or other problems, so I think nothing of it.
