Time warner are about to upgrade their speeds majorly (if they don't get bought out)

Basic - Currently 3/1Mbps – New 10/1Mbps
Standard - Currently 15/1Mbps – New 50/5Mbps
Turbo - Currently 20/2Mbps – New 100/10Mbps
Extreme – Currently 30/5Mbps – New 200/20Mbps
Ultimate - Currently 50/5Mbps – New 300/20Mbps

They still make me salivate.

I still like the upgrades as I am getting more for what I currently pay. I cannot complain about that.

It's a weird feeling ptrowski. 99% of the people around me are still stuck with 6mbps dsl. I'm sitting here on a 50mbps line that hasn't even slowed down once at peak time in a month.

Yet, I still want more.

My greed for bandwidth is uncanny.

Oh don't get me wrong, faster speeds would be great!

I am always pleased when they upgrade the speeds. Absolutely always pleased.

But I also can't ignore the fact that, for the price we pay, the speeds Metrocast offers always lag behind the other options in my state. It frustrates me to no end that if I lived just a few miles down the road, I'd have a different provider and would be getting double the bandwidth for my money.

Also, did anyone else get the robocall informing them of the speed upgrade? I got one a couple nights ago and it was the first time I can ever remember them doing that. I think last year I just got a flyer in the mail.

Yep, I got the robocall also in CT. What's the speed on the standard package now? Anyone know?

They've updated the website to the new speeds.
