Bell Fibe 50/10 Deployment

Hi, I was wondering typically how long does it take for Bell to update its fibe 25/10 infrastructure to support 50/10. Because literally 2 blocks away from my area its available but on my block it only shows 25/10 availability. Thanks

I don't know if it will ever happen. This would likely require placing a remote closer to your premises (if reason for availability is distance). You may just have to wait for FTTH. I doubt Bell will invest much more money to bring everyone up to 50/10 on copper.

I was in the same boat. If you provide evidence that your line can handle 50/10; they may update the database for your location. This was the case for me. That being said, the my line quality is barely good enough (getting 45/4), so maybe they had it listed as 25/10 max for good reason...

It won't be updated. Also if you dont qualify for 50/10 you won't be able to get 25/10 + fibe tv.

50/10 is usually only available to those within a couple hundred meters of the slam

Actually; there's still hope for pair bonding; but who knows if bell will ever roll that out. My guess is they will just go straight to FTTH but this won't be for at least a few (5+?) years.

How did you test that your line could handle that by any chance ?

When Fibe originally came to my area I could only get up to 25/10 standalone or 15/10+Fibe TV. As of a couple months ago, TPIAs are offering 50/10 based on my postal code, but Bell's website does not offer 50/10 as an option at all. I can however, get 25/10+Fibe TV now.

Pm me your number I'll check your attainable speeds and get someone in touch with you if you want 50/10 and it really is available. If you qualify for tv+25/10 then you should be good to go. Tv+25/10 uses a 48/11 profile

Sure pm your phone number to me, do you already have fibe services? If not send me the address but that isnt as accurate as current physical line specifications
