Some questions on LEAF distro

REF »leaf.sourceforge.net/

#1 What is the default LAN IP Address and Subnet Mask?

For example 192.168.1.1 with subnet mask 255.255.255.0

#2 What is/are the default login credentials?

#3 Does it have a web based UI?

#4 If so to my last question:

a) Is it HTTP OR HTTPS?

b) What is the default port?

c) Does that grant read only or admin power (power to change settings) ?

Note: If read only or admin power - based upon the login credentials, please say so.

Thank you

Yes

said by "http://leaf.sourceforge.net/doc/binetwork.html" :
By default, the LEAF "Bering" firewall uses eth0 as the external interface with a dynamic IP provided by pump.lrp and eth1 as the internal interface at address 192.168.1.254.

#2: try root with a blank password

#3: doesn't look like it from the web site

Oh, ok.

How does one enable that?

And if possible, not read only?

Thank you.

Are you asking how to enable a web UI where one does not exist?

That is correct.

My recommendation then is to contact the developers, we're not going to be able to help much.

In any firewall distribution that has a web UI, the UI is a major contributor to the development complexity, size of the distribution, and hardware requirements.

If you want a firewall with a web UI, there are numerous others that were conceived with that in mind.
