Follow these steps:

1. go to »myservices.timewarnercable.com/
2. login
3. Scroll Down and look for "Manage and Troubleshoot Services"
4. click on Troubleshoot
5. look under "What do you need help with?" and click on "Slow Internet Connection"
6. finally a button will appear "reset". Click on it.

East Village has it. Can confirm need both steps. Website reset got me to 88 down with multiple tests, then after unplugging 30 seconds, getting 110+ download consistently.

Someone from the plant possibly reported an issue in your area.may not be internet related though. But under the plus sign of that troubleshooting button is what u should be clicking. I'm not sure if the outage would block it

Log-in your TWC account and start live chat. Request them to reset your modem from their end. They'll do it

This is the first thing they do whenever we contact them for any problem :P
