Arrogance. MS is not the first company to tell people, "We are going to revolutionize the way that you work." And they won't be the last. In fact, they'll keep at it because the stockholders demand it. There always needs to be 'the next big thing' to drive growth, and growth is what the stock market is all about. No one profits from the status quo.
