[X1-X2] X!: Setting favorite channel broken

Setting a channel as favorite in the latest version of the X1 platform. When a channel is selected (NOT A PROGRAM) pressing info rarely offers the channel and the ability to make it a favorite, usually the program currently on.

Hit Guide button twice to get fullscreen guide up

Scroll to channel you want to be a favorite
Hit left arrow button on remote and highlight the Channel box on left side of Guide
Hit the Info button
Use down arrow to select the "Favorite" button'
Hit "OK" button

Then use the "A" button to turn Favorites back on in the Guide.

Hit the Info button

This is what's not working, however, using the select key does.

I just upgraded to the new Guide:

From the email I rec'd:
quote:
Over the next few weeks you will receive an on-screen message inviting you to try it out.
Just select "Get it now" and in about 10 seconds you'll see the new and improved
on-screen guide.
If you'd like to upgrade early – go to Settings > Preferences > General and change the guide version. Upgrading the X1 Platform guide will impact all TVs in your household.
Here is the way to save a favorite channel with the upgraded Guide:
quote:
Hit Guide button twice to get fullscreen guide choice up
Hit the "OK" button on remote to select "All Channels" option
Scroll to channel you want to be a favorite
Hit left arrow button on remote and highlight the Channel box on left side of Guide
Hit the "OK" button
Use right arrow to select the "Favorite" button'
Hit "OK" button
That channel is now a Favorite.
---------------
To make Favorite your Guide choice:
Hit Guide button twice.
Use right arrow button to highlight Favorites option.
Hit "OK" button to make Guide show your Favorite channels.

The upgraded Guide also works differently in that it totally overlays the show you are watching unlike the old Guide that put what you were watching in a window.
But while watching something, hitting the info button leaves what you are watching fullscreen, but overlays the shows info at bottom of the screen.
