Back to normal,restored the image back to version 26 and disabled all fucking updates.

What a PITA day.

Probably would have figured it out by starting in Safe Mode; an extension or theme...

I couldn't get into any of those options...........even the updates to disable it.

There was no safemode..........it just hosed everything.
