[Equipment] Comtrend 3100u Router as bridge

Can anyone advise me on how to configure Windstream's Comtrend 3100u Router as a bridge so I can continue to use my Netgear router to manage my internet connection?

Unfortunately, your instructions appear to be for the Comtrend CT5364A modem, not the 3100u. The 3100 interface does not contain the options required by your instructions. Thanks, anyways.

Hello, thanks for the reply. I apologize but the information that we were provide for these modems indicate that in December 2012 the Comtrend 3100 replaces the 5600. The modems are identical and other than the name there are no differences between them. So I am now wondering do you not even see anything close or similar?
Thanks,

@windstream.net
Patricia; Windstream's GUI for the 3100 is quite different from that of the 5364 shown in the latter's user guide.
For example, the 3100 does not offer the ATM or PTM options in your instructions nor is there an option to permit bridging. The two models may be electrically similar but Windstream's 3100 firmware is quite different from that of the
standard 5364. Many thanks for your efforts but it would be helpful if Windstream were to make a user guide for
its CPE available to its customers.

Thank you, Salty_Peaks, for clarifying matters. I am surprised, though, that Windstream's techs did not direct me to
that FAQ.

P.S. It works. Thanks again.
