January ComEd Bills?Any word or news about the delay in ComEd bills for January? I have not received one yet, and called for more information. Their customer "dis-service" informed me it was being processed. I asked why it was late, and all they said is that customers were called. I stated I never got a call, email, text or letter, and I was told' "That is not my problem". Really? over 3 weeks late on a bill, and no explanation? Has anybody else had this problem as well? |

Now that you mention it, I haven't seen one. No call or email that I'm aware of either. |

My bill is due at the end of the month and is right on schedule. It is sent and paid via my bank's online bill pay, everything looks normal. |

I received a call from ComED but they did not leave a message. I too have wondered about my bill. My bill comes about the 22nd of every month. Nothing was received in January but my balance when I log in says $0.00. |

@scooby- The same goes for me. Usually the bill is on the 22nd, and still shows $0.00 due. I am on the RRTP plan, and not exactly looking forward to the bill, since the rates were so high over the past month and a half. I just don't want to get hit with a two month elevated bill, all due at the same time. |

I did get my bill as normal. I did receive a phone calls a few days before saying that due to the weather, they couldn't check the meter, and gave options to have me check it and tell them, or they would just estimate for the month. Being an apartment, I just let it be an estimate. I have gas heat, so the cost doesn't vary much in the winter. |

I have 10 feet of snow in my back yard. I doubt if the meter reader could get to the meter to actually read it. I don't see any foot prints. |

Got my bill yesterday, and found it interesting that my RRTP smart meter bill was "estimated" and not actual. The meter is accessible and not buried by snow. My question would be how can they estimate real time usage? This is the first time since I have been on the RRTP program that I have encountered an estimated bill. |

I didn't notice if my RRTP bill was an estimate or not. For the first time since I had it installed in August of 2012 I have had a month - December and early January - that was $20 over the non RRTP price. January's bill was about $3 over. On;y months where I have been over. I also got an email from the RRTP people saying that they know that customers are concerned by the spike in prices and they assure us things will get to normal soon. |

Got that email too, not soon after I complained about not getting a bill. |
