Same thing happened to me in the LA area about 3 months ago, only took a few weeks before speedtest.net and other sites started picking up my location correctly again.
Geolocation databases are not supposed to affect how traffic is routed. That said, the fact that they're messing around with new IP blocks means there can be routing errors, mistakes, or other related maintenance going on that could affect your performance. |
