As of right now we have no plan to launch a 120 Mbits service. |

Ok, thanks for the quick response. |

I've already contact them to see if this speed was avaialable at my place where Videotron can't offer me 120M and the service was not available.
I guess it's just where Videotron offers these speeds |

+1 this service is very much wanted. I fear it won't be available until after off-peak is active. |

Yea, I am extremely tempted by Netfox's 120Meg offering.
And I checked on Videotron's website, and 120 is available at my location. |

said by Nitra:+1 this service is very much wanted. I fear it won't be available until after off-peak is active. I don't think so. It is limited to a very small number of areas and the price tag is quite high so the number of client who would qualify & interested in paying 100$+/month would be very low. The product is also not very good in terms of costing as it would use a lot of resources at peak and it would be difficult to guarantee the full speed all the time. Honestly if there is another provider offering it and you need that much speed, don't wait for us. Sorry |

I generally do all of my stuff in mornings, I'm not a user at peak. |

As much as i hate to say that you guys should signup with the incumbent or another TPIA if you really need that much speed.
With the current costing of 2031$/100 Mbits of CBB it would be playing the Russian roulette to release 120/200 Mbits packages and expect people to obtain their full speed + make profit on our end.
It's not the kind of clientele we target right now.
We can't be everywhere unfortunately.
Things might change eventually but not right now. |

Need... well, I can't say I need that much speed. But, yanno.... bigger harder faster stronger... yeehaw baby...!!! |

Keep in mind it depends on your new provider ability to purchase enough CBB to serve you and still make money |

To be fair, I'm not making any decisions as of yet. At this point it's more a case of thinking out loud.... |

On the other hand... one could always take a couple willing, existing customers to test such a thing on.....(whistling innocently) hehehe.... |

Naturally, I would be willing to volunteer for such a test.... should the need arise... It's a tough job, but somebody's gotta do it... (besides, you know ya wanna.... ) |

As a side note, maybe at some point they'd consider adding a sort of QOS, w could have a higher tier, but at peek hours it would say change the 120/20 to 60/20 or something like that. If someone didn't want the QOS during peek, they could pay a premium. |

I think simply stating that speeds could not always be garenteed should suffice.... But they would have to actually offer it first, and Diskace has indicated otherwise. |
