Be aware of this version downloading a product called "Search Protect". I unticked this option but it downloaded it anyway and I could not use any of the shortcuts icons on my desktop.

Uninstalled it and am now back to normal.

Even after doing an uninstall and a manual search with File Seeker and Regedit and removing only one item I found out my home page was still set with their link.

Changed it back to my normal one and will see if this holds. If not I will use Spywareblaster to lock it in.

I know not many people use XP but here is something to be aware of.

Clicking on Custom Installation - and unchecking both boxes...it did not install anything extra...

Decided to run Malwarebytes Pro and it picked up 13 PUP type items. Zapped them. So much for my manual removal working.

Anymore of these and I will looking for a new PDF reader.

I must have missed something during the install.

It's always bundled with other stuff... it's nothing new ....

Portableapps.com offers a Portable version with permission of Foxit.
It will be available when they get it packaged.

I redownloaded and it gave me the option to repair or remove. I choose remove and then reinstalled and this time I saw the second box under custom install and unticked it.

To early in the morning for this old brain to be installing programs.

Thanks Chachazz didn't mean to clutter up your thread.

Think you would be surprised at the number of people who actually still use it..
