I'm with you.
I used to upgrade every other version.
This effectively doubles my upgrade price.
Way back when they promised the version update would still be available, not so.
So now I have to double my cost or live with the version I have forever.
They've extended this offer several times and IMHO they'll continue to do so because a lot of non pros are shying away.
Just my opinion.
