We're writing to let you know about a change in price for your AT&T High Speed Internet service. In an effort to continue providing you with the high level of quality, service, and features you've come to expect from AT&T, starting with your April 2014 bill, the monthly rate for your AT&T High Speed Internet FastAccess® DSL Ultra 1.5 plan will increase from $36.00 to $39.00 per month.

This change will be automatic. There will be no interruption to your Internet service because of this change, and you will continue to enjoy the same great features, including:

• Up to 11 email accounts with virtually UNLIMITED storage space
• Personalized Home Page
• Instant Messaging
• Parental Controls
• Security tools including the AT&T Internet Security Suite with Anti-Spyware,
Anti-Virus, and Firewall protection (available free to select speeds)4

What a ripoff. We get paltry internet than most of the countries in the world and yet the price is increasing? For WHAT? As far as I know, AT&T is hurting its own reputation in the U.S by increasing rates with possibly NO upgrade to their own infrastructure.

Why not $99 for 6mbps, if going to be ridiculous.

It looks as if the cable company is finally working on getting cable to my neighborhood just in time.

$54 for 6meg dsl.... What a joke! Once the cable is in place my family will NEVER use anything from AT&T again.

I got this a while back. I did nothing and then all of sudden I started getting: welcome to ATT phone calls, then calls saying the install of my new service would be delayed, then calls saying it had been completed. The last was a letter I received saying welcome!

Seeing them mention AT&T (A.K.A Ma Bell) High Speed Internet "FastAccess" DSL whatever, is it only going into effect BellSouth's states and not the rest of the country who has Ma as their ILEC?

Well given that when I posted the copy of the e-mail about raising of rates I made sure to tag said message with the [Southeast].. Which in the marketing speak on the referenced AT&T page Detailing the changes from webpage.

So, it seems some people don't mind the rates being raised to "Be in line with the rest of AT&T".
I don't know about you but, I think that $39 plus taxes and other things for upto 1.5mb DSL is highway robbery. That's ok since the name of the service isn't the sames as the rest of AT&T.

my 6.0 service has gone from $19.99 to $48.00, guess its time to switch to cable for $14.99

Let us know how much it will be a year from now when your teaser rate runs out.

UGG found out that $14.99 rate is only 2mb speed, can't hardly watch Youtube at that rate.

This MAY sound stupid but what is "UGG"?

Wish I had cable option. Paying $44 for 768kbps Suppose to be Ultra but rarely gets that high. Have SNR at 6-8 and ATTN at 52-57, so don't get video.
