Not up here in Van Nuys

Would be nice if they got them deployed up here.

/M

van nuys will most likely see 16 downstreams and 4 uptreams this summer

reply to Suit Up

if my sources are correct, 90069 wil see 16 downstreams and 4 upstreams next week. Speeds have been checked and so far looks good at 300mbps by 20mbps

I'd like to know if that 300/20 is coming to 91007 anytime soon

That modem only supports up to 4 downstream channels, so you'll never see more

did they upgrade to upstream bonding in Kansas City yet?

I am still baffled at why Dallas has 3 QAM64 6.4MHz upstream carriers while all of the other areas has only 2 at the max on TWC?

Is Dallas getting a special upload upgrade to compete with At&t or other providers or is it that the Dallas system is just that good to be able to squeeze a 6.4MHz channel at the top of the upstream with 37MHz as the center carrier? I know Dallas has had a lot of work done since 2006 when TWC took over and upgraded the metro here to 860MHz and replaced a lot of gear to 860MHz or 1GHz and recently in the last year older SG2000/SG2440 nodes were replaced with 1GHz Aurora nodes in some areas. Maybe had to do something the return lasers?
