How do you un-"Dislike" a post?

Accidentally clicked 'dislike' instead of 'like' (was not expecting it to be there--PEBKAC).

Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Go back to the post and click on the "recommend" link that is showing in on the left side and I think that will take it away. It does when it's a member but I don't know if it works on anons.

I don't think it has that for anon posts. There is simply a "like this" or "Dislike this" button--no "recommend" language.

Re: How do you un-"Dislike" a post?

I read that you can click like or dislike but to the anon it shows like only? Could have been misinformed however because I now see a negative before the recommend. The recommend is below the name.

This is the reccomend link I meant for you to click on:

That recommend should be a link and clickable. At least it is for me.

I wonder if you clicked on the "like this" link in the actions if that would offset your dislike?

One last idea - Did you try clicking on the "dislike this" in your action area?

Edit: That doesn't work either for anons.

Yep, double-negative doesn't turn into a positive, this time.

Did you try the "cancel" link under "actions"??

That just closes the "actions" options.

Pretty stupid that no one here including justin See Profile has never explained why dislike is only an option for anon users and not for members.

Too close to being "critical" [of another member] (which isn't allowed). (Hey! ...did you just call Justin "stupid"!? )

I'm more curious as to why one person sees "Dislikes" and another sees a "-1" (another "anon/you did it" thing?).

Well, that's what they tell me after I've been... "naughty".

As the king of being moderated for questionable reason, I would have to agree. I probably have close to 300 or so posts removed
